How to submit requirements for White-Labelling Mobile App (iOS & Android), Mailer and Web App?

Updated yesterday

To begin the white labeling process, ensure that all necessary information—such as assets and App Store details—is updated in the White Labeling section of the CMS Admin portal. This guide will walk you through the steps to update the required information, enabling the app to be published to the respective stores.

White labeling provides branding flexibility across multiple events, allowing consistent application of your unique identity. Please note that white labeling configurations must be applied separately to each event within a container.

1. In the event dashboard, click on the "Settings" tab from the sidebar.

2. Click "White Labeling" under Integrations.

3. Expand the "Requirements" tab.

4. This section will allow you to update the asset information for Google and App stores.

5. You can edit the "App Logo" by clicking on the pencil icon as shown below.

6. This will redirect you to the Event branding page where the App logo can be updated within Assets.

7. You can edit the "Splash Image" by clicking on the pencil icon as shown below.

8. This will redirect you to the Event branding page where the splash image can be updated within Assets.

9. You can remove the current image and update a new image in this section.

10. Please ensure that the following app store information is updated:

  1. App Name

  2. Subtitle (upto 30 Characters)

  3. Short Description (upto 80 Characters)

  4. Full Description (upto 4000 Characters)

App names must be under 30 characters, for instance, 'Nunify Software Conference' is a compliant example.

11. Updating the cover image for the Google Play Store is mandatory and should be done as specified below.

Mailer: Steps to Update the Email Domain.

12. Please follow the steps outlined below or you can also refer to the provided screenshot for guidance.

  1. Enter Email domain below (We recommend a subdomain like mail.yourdomain.com)

  2. We will email the DNS entries to you once your domain is verified.

  3. Add the DNS entries to your domain's DNS console.

Note: Email white labeling is charged per domain; if using the same domain, additional setups might not be required.

13. After completing these steps, enter the email domain you wish to white-label in the highlighted field below.

14. Once the domain is updated, you can click on "Save".

Web: You will need to setup an A Record (Address Record) in your DNS to publish your white-labeled Web event app under your event’s domain name.

15. Here are the steps to be followed:

  1. Go to your domain's DNS console.

  2. Remove any existing A Record for the domain you want to use.

  3. Add a new A Record with the name of your domain (e.g., your-event-name.com) and the value 157.245.20.21.

Alternatively, you can configure a subdomain (e.g., 'app.yourdomain.com') for your white-labeled web event app.

16. After completing these steps, enter the domain name for which you have added A Record.

17. Click "Save"

  • After updating the requirements, please review the 'General Info' section to confirm that 'Nunify' has been granted access to the "Developer Accounts."

  • Review the 'Event Set-up' section and ensure that all necessary changes have been made within the event.Once these checks are complete, please contact support. We will then validate everything within the event and request our technical team to push the apps to the respective stores.

    Submission Timelines:

  • Initiation of white labeling takes 24–48 hours after submission.

  • App Store approvals typically require a minimum of two weeks.

  • Avoid modifying the app layout or uploading test/demo content during this period.

    Best Practices:

  • Use a generic setup for apps spanning multiple events over the years; this reduces the need for rebranding annually.

  • Consider container apps, such as 'Nunify Events', to manage multiple events and streamline processes effectively.
