How can attendees use chat for networking ?

The chat function in the event app offers numerous benefits for users, including real-time communication, facilitating networking, building community, and enabling information sharing. This functionality is integrated throughout the app wherever user profiles are displayed.

For instance, on the People page, where all user profiles are listed, users can easily access and chat with any desired profile. The chat feature is also available in the Networking section and many other areas of the app, ensuring seamless interaction and engagement among attendees.

Below are the steps demonstrating how a user can start a chat with another attendee who is present at the event.


1. The user can access the desired event from the Nunify App.


2. Click on the "Chat" feature page to initiate a new chat.


3. This will prompt the user list present at the event based on the configuration set by the admin.


4. Choose the user you wish to chat with, and to send any media, click the '+' icon."


5. The listed options can be used while chatting with the attendees:

  1. Camera - Used to capture an image and send it to the user.

  2. Photos - The device's photo album will be shown where users can select an image from the album and send it.

  3. GIF - GIFs from Giphy will be shown, which can be selected.

  4. Document - The device's app will be opened where users can select the relevant file.

6. Once a text message is sent to the attendee, a chat thread will be opened as shown below.
