How Event Type and Visibility Affect Display in the Upcoming Events Section of the Container App?

Updated over a week ago

Overview

In the container app, the visibility of individual event apps under the Upcoming Events section depends on how the event type and status are configured. This guide explains how different event states determine whether your event is displayed to attendees.

Behaviour Scenarios

  • Event app is disabled

Attendees will be able to view and tap on the event's box, but it will not open and will display a message saying "The Event App is currently disabled"

  • Event app is disabled and the Registration is enabled

Attendees will be able to view the event. They can also tap on the “Register” button to register themselves to the event. Once the registration process is complete, the event will not open and instead will display a message saying "The Event App is currently disabled".

  • Event app is enabled and the event status is Public

Attendees will see a “Register” button to complete their registration. Once registered, they can access the event from within the container app.

  • Event app is enabled and the event status is Private

The event will not appear for un-registered users in the Upcoming Events section of the container app. Only users with access can view and login to the event.
