1. On the Event Dashboard, click on “Content” in the side bar.
2. Click on the “Agenda” feature page
3. On the top toolbar, click on “Import” and then click on "Import Sessions" from the dropdown options
4. On the session import page, there are 2 modes through which you can import sessions.
Mode 1: Add sessions while keeping the existing sessions:
5. In this mode, uploading the import file will add new sessions to your event without removing any of the existing sessions.
If you want to update existing sessions, first download the current session list.
Make sure you retain the Session "ID" in your file, this ID is what links your updates to the correct sessions, even if names or other details are changed.
Mode 2: Delete existing sessions and replace them with new sessions:
6. In this mode, once the import file is uploaded, the existing sessions will be deleted and replaced by the new import file. Note that all ratings, feedback, posts, questions, and polls related to the existing sessions will also be deleted.
7. Select the desired mode and click 'Next.' and this will open the importing page.
8. In the Importing page, you are presented with 2 options as well; you can either "Download all the existing sessions" to make changes and reimport, or click "Download Template" to start fresh and upload new sessions
9. Upload the Excel file and click on "Next" on the top right.
10. Once the column mapping is done accurately, click on “Next”. This will open the summary page.
11. The summary page will contain all the details regarding your import which include contacts that are being added, contacts that are being updated, contacts that are being deleted, etc.
When importing the system will analyse the data, and show if there are any errors in the import sheet, review the errors and make changes as required and import the sheet again.
12. Now your Sessions will be Imported successfully
