1. Open the event dashboard on the CMS-nxt.
2. Click on Event settings.
3. Under settings Go to Integrations.
4. Click Connect an app to connect Cvent.
5. Click Connect for Cvent to connect Cvent with Nunify,
6. Here, we need to fill in these details from Cvent to connect it with Nunify.
Cvent Account Access
7. Now Open Cvent, either create an account or login to your account by entering the account details.
8. In the left side panel click on Admin to open admin panel settings.
9. Open REST API to connect it with Nunify and details through API.
10. Create a workspace if you already have'nt created one.
11. Select the workspace permissions and create the workspace.
12. Click on "Save" to save the permissions.
13. Go to Developers to add developers.
14. Click on Invite developers to create application or configure existing application in the developer portal.
15. Click Select workspaces and enter the email you want to send invite. and click on send.
Invitation Confirmation
16. Your Developer or yourself would have received the invitation click on View Invitation.
Developer Workspace Setup
17. Now this will take you to the Cvent developer portal. create your account or Login by entering the credentials.
18. Once you are in you will find the invitation click on Accept to access applications.
19. Once you accept under Applications, click on create application or edit the existing application.
20. Select Application type "Machine to Machine" and Name the application.
21. Select the required scopes: This is the most important step. Please select the API permissions required by Nunify, which may include access to Attendees, Contacts, Events, Sessions, Custom Fields, and Speakers, depending on the integration requirements. an click on Save.
22. Once the application is created you will find the Client ID and Client secret.
Connect Cvent
23. Click Connect for Cvent.
24. Enter the details from the Application in Cvent developer portal and Click Connect.
25. Here Your Cvent application is connected to Nunify .
